Merry late Christmas

I hope everybody had a wonderful Christmas and enjoyed the day with their families. This is my first year to not have Christmas with my whole family and to have Christmas in my house in Las Vegas. We had a Great time getting ready and decorating the house. Not traveling during the Holidays was kinda nice also, but I still really missed my nieces and nephews. My mom came into town a couple of days after Aunt Kelly left us. I am so excited about her being here and staying for a couple of weeks. Kyle and I had a fun time getting ready on Christmas Eve for the kids the next morning. I think we slept 4 hours that night. Christmas Eve we went outside and put out reindeer food then came in a let the kids open one of their presents.  The kids really enjoyed putting out the reindeer food even though it was raining and cold outside.
After feeding the reindeer we brought the kids in and let them open one small gift and then took pictures by the tree. Soon after opening presents we did the Santa tracker to see how close he was to getting to our house and off to bed quickly.(he was pretty close)

We finally finished everything on Christmas Eve 2:15 am early that night.

We had a great Christmas day the kids had to get the kids up extra early(5:50) to open presents because daddy had to work Christmas day. I think this is the first year that all the kids enjoyed opening the presents and playing all day long..
If you look closely at the floor in front of the tree you can see white foot prints through the house to the cookies and milk. I think Santa left his boot prints. I pretty sure that Santa enjoyed his cookies and milk because all that was left was crumbs.
Our crazy madness that took the past three days me all day to clean up.
I think the kids had a wonderful Christmas and received everything they could imagine. I am really excited about the stuff that I got from Kyle. He bought me a new wireless all in one printer, Adobe elements 6 for my computer do so stuff with all my pictures, he got me the dummies books for both my computer and the adobe program, my wonderful steve madden boots, and a girt certificate. Thanks honey I love it all.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to everybody.

The bad blogger that I am......

Well I have been a very BAD blogger this month, but I guess I have been way to busy with everything this month. I have had 2 sick girls with rsv and double ear infections and I tried to just give breathing treatments to both the girls to get it to get better and not go to the doctor, but that didn't happen. I think we have been to the doctor 3 times and been on a couple of antibiotics already and still have to take them back on Monday. They seem to be much better now thank goodness.
We have also had our wonderful Aunt Kelly here with us for a few days the second week of December. We took Greyson out of school on that Friday and went to the shark reef at Mandalay Bay. The kids love it when we go to the strip and walk around in the casino's and down the strip. We also had one of Kyle's friends from collage that lives here come over and we did a Mexican food and got to catch-up with him.
We had the biggest snow that Las Vegas has had in 30 years and this is the first time in more than 30 years that schools have closed for bad weather. I really wouldn't say the roads were bad especially coming from Arkansas snowy weather/ice. I live right by the mountains at the top of the Las Vegas valley and we got about 3 to 4 inches and then later the next day Henderson recieved 6 inches. People are so scared to drive in that around here it kinda funny to watch.
This was the day it snowed and YES this is my daughter in a t-shirt and her underwear. (with rsv and double ear infection) I had real issues keeping her dressed and inside during the snowy weather.
These are my two girls the day before the snow came it was warm that day. Kadence is my free spirited little child that is 2 going on 15.
My little Kymbell isn't so little anymore. She had definitely become very vocal about what she wants and telling you no or yes if you ask her a question.

The Great catch-up,,,,

NELLIS AIRFORCE BASE:
We have been super busy these past few weeks. We took the kids to aviation nation at nellis air force base here in Las Vegas. We are the home of the thunderbirds and they put on a great show. It was a little cool and it rained on us at the very end, but all in all the kids (especially Kadence) had a great time. I think Kyle got some really good pictures of
some planes flying that I can blow up and put in the boys room.

                                                                                      POLAR EXPRESS:
I was so excited when one of my friends told me about the Grand Canyon Railway. Every year they turn the train station into the polar express with Santa Claus. You get in the train and they give everybody hot chocolate and cookies just like the movie and then they read the story to you. They tell the kids that they are going through a time warp to the north pole. After a few minutes you start to see lights and then you see and Elf, Santa and his sleigh with the reindeer. All you here are the kids and sound of excitement and then we turn around to go back by and Santa was gone. After a few minutes they tell the kids Santa is on the train with us and will come back to see them. We had a great time minus me thinking it was closer to us than it really was and forgetting about the time change. Whoops!!! I had to call and change our reservation from 6:30 train to the 8:00 train. All the kids got a silver bell from Santa. The kids even wore their pajamas just like the movie.

As for me putting up my tree the day after Christmas well I can not do that b/c I put it up Nov. 1st. I had to try and get the kids in a Christmas mood before we went on the Polar Express plus I hadn't seen my tree before Kyle bought it for me last year. I have to say that it is very pretty and pre-lite . I still have lots of decorating to do outside, but I will do it tomorrow if it doesn't rain again.

Monkey See....

Monkey See.....

Monkey Do....

These two girls are so funny when they are together and playing. Kymbell always has to try everything Kadence does or tries to copy her. Kadence loves to put black olives on her fingers and eat them off, but Kymbell saw her do this and had to join in. She still is the best when it comes to patience with everything and is such a wonderful little girl. We are so lucky that she has pretty much slept through the night since she was a week old and is just easy going.
Miss Kymbell had finally got the art of walking down, but would rather crawl quite a bit still. She will walk if she is not in a hurry to get somewhere or something and she can take her time getting there. I took all the kids to get the flu shot and whatever other shots they needed that day and I was so proud of all of them b/c nobody cried. None of them not a whimper or a whine. Kadence and Kymbell are still in the 95% for weight and height. She has at least 8 teeth that I could see the other day and I think more coming. I can't believe how big Kymbell is already. She has really cute curly hair, but it is so blonde that you can't even see it in the pictures. I have lots to post about we have done some really fun things the past two weeks so I have a lot to catch up on.

Perfect day at the park

The kids had a wonderful day at the park Saturday. We went and picked Drue up from her house so Konner and her could play together and everybody could run some energy off since the time change always messes our kids schedule up. It was a very nice day and not to hot.
These are the rolling hills of the teletubbies show.
This is a picture of Konner's friend Drue.

Halloween

We had a really fun time this Halloween with our friends Dina, Chad and their kids. They rented a bounce house and the kids just ran around crazy through the whole house. Then we went trick or treating in their neighborhood and then went back and handed out candy. The kids were so cute in the costumes Kadence was a  good witch with gray hair and purple eyelashes, Kymbell was Raggedy Ann with cute red circles on her cheeks and drawn on black eyelashes, Konner and Greyson were vampires with black hair and painted face with fake blood. They did really great all day long and they were wore out by the time we left their house. Kymbell was so tired that she fell asleep during trick or treating and stayed that way the rest of the night.
The kids bobbing for apples.

Kymbell and I trick or treating .

Kymbell all tuckered out from all the days events.

Halloween and a Ghost Town

The Ghost Town of Calico, California sets the mining town up as a Halloween ghost town with a haunted house and decor. We went with Mrs. Dina that is Konner's teacher and her family. He and Drue had a great time running around and playing. They also have two other kids Madi and Eric which they are great also. Madi is super with Kadence and Kymbell  and keeping them happy and occupied. We went the weekend before Halloween.
