Bounce U

This was Kadence's last birthday thing we wanted to do for her. We waited for Aunt Kelly to come into town so we would have an extra person to come play with the kids and go down slides. Kadence had the best time going down the big slides and playing in all the big bounce areas. It was a huge play area with several different areas to play in and bounce.

There are no words.

Daddy just had to put Kymbell's tutu on his head and I couldn't resist taking a picture. Here is another picture of the girls in theirs. We love the ladies of hannahstutus.com

Birthday Pics :)

Kadence had a really good birthday.(Well at least I think) We really didn't do much yeaterday, but hang out at the house. Then that night we did a nice dinner for her and had presents and cupcakes. Kyle and I took her to FAO to the baby nursery to pick her very own baby to adopt and she LOVES her so much. I couldn't have pick out a better present for her than that baby. Grammy bought her a movie and lots of clothes, and a couple of pairs of shoes. Nana and papa bought her a radio flyer tricycle. The boys got her some really neat building blocks and an art table. I also bought her a very pretty tutu from a women who made it just like I asked for her birthday pics we are having done in a couple of days. (Its is so pretty)

HAPPY 2ND BIRTHDAY KADENCE ELLICE!!!!!!

Kadence is 2 years old today. She is such a little talker. K starting talking fairly early and I knew she was trouble and would never keep her mouth quiet. Soon after she turned 1 she was pretty much a sponge and started to repeat most small words you would say to her. Now she 2 and she repeats anything you tell her too.
She is a very strong minded and independent little lady. She love to pick her own clothes out and dress herself. She is like every other little girl and loves shoes have her nails and hair pretty.
I have to admit I was worried when Kymbell was born and Kadence was only 13 and 1/2 months old. I figured she would be jealous and not want to be with her or really like her. I was very wrong she is the sweetest thing to her little sis and the biggest helper I could have ever asked for. She is always trying to help calm her find a sassy for her try to make a bottle if needed, get a diaper or wipes. I have to say I have a pretty great little girl.
When it comes to eating she has no problem in that area. She is not a picky eater. Some of her favorite foods are tomatoes, avacodes, oranges, yogurt, peaches, strawberries pretty much anything that is healthy for her she will eat it and of course ice cream would be the all time favorite.
She has done really well with potty training, but we still have work to do at bedtime. Kadence is such a little ball of energy and I am so lucky to have daughter like her. Happy Birthday!!!!!!

Going away party (kinda)

Karen (the engineer at station 8) had a get together at her house for his going away party. He's not really going away, but he won't be at station 8 anymore. He was covering for a girl that had been on maternity for the past year or so. They really want Kyle to stay with them and he would love to stay there, but it's her station. His station is full of a good group of guys and one girl. We just sat around talking and the kids and dads swam in the pool. We had a really nice time just hanging out. Again here are some pics, but not any of Kyle b/c he is the picture taker.

Finally Home :)

These 2 weeks are finally over and Greyson is back home. He left on the 5th and just arrived this morning. He had a really great time in Arkansas with his grandparents and they let my parents come and pick him up one night. He got to see everybody and got to hold little baby Landry(my sisters baby). I think he had a great time getting to see and spend time with everybody that is saw, but I think he is in need of some serious catch up on sleep. We are just glad to have him home and back with us.

Camping and Hiking in Zion National Park

We are back from camping and we had a great time. This was Kymbell's first time to do the long hikes and sleep in a tent thing. She did AMAZING. She just went along with everything that we did and never complained about anything. The first day we did a 3 mile hike and it was very pretty. We went to the upper level of the Emerald pools after that we went to the well known slot canyon the Narrows and let the kids play in the water.

The next day we went back to the Narrows and actually hiked pretty deep into it. We would have keep going, but it started to rain and you are at a high risk for flash floods. This has to be our favorite hike b/c you stay cool by being in the water the most of the time and it is very pretty. I think that we only maybe hiked for about 2 miles on this trail. Anyway here are a few of our favorite pictures.

13 Days:)

It is a very short 13 days away from Kadence's second birthday party. We are very excited to have family here for her birthday. Kyle's parents and sister will be here and if we wait a couple of days after they get here we will have even more people here to celebrate with us. It is odd for us not to have a big party. We normally have kids aunts and uncle's and grandparents to celebrate with us, but since we moved its just us. I can't believe she is already so big. She is doing so well with her potty training that she might just be potty trained by her birthday. That would be great. She tells us when or just takes off running. She has definitely been the easiest so far.

Ice Cream

Our girls get the serious love of mint chocolate chip ice cream from daddy. I handed out ice cream to everybody last night and Kadence was off to the races. I guess she didn't want to share with anybody. I shared mine with Kymbell... Well more like she ate most of it. I would give her a bite and almost immediately she would slap at her high chair to get my attention, but if that didn't work she work start screaming.

Loving the heat

I have to say we love the warm weather here, these pictures are of the kids after we ate supper. It was 7:00 and still 100 it was great.

Kymbell and her two new teeth. She is such a sweet little baby and very happy. We take her to the gym and all the worker just fight over her b/c she never cries and always smiles.
Grey's not in these b/c he stayed in the house to get so Wii time.

We finally made reservations for Zion

Kyle and I loved taking the kids camping last year, but this has been our first chance to go this year. This year will be different b/c instead of being 7 months pregnant little Miss Kymbell will be on back in a carrier. Kadence is a year older since the last time and I think she'll enjoy herself a lot more. We can't wait to get to go, but we are sad b/c Greyson will be at the others house in Arkansas so he doesn't get to go with us. Hopefully Kymbell will do great and we can go to the Grand Canyon before Greyson starts school. We only live 3 hours away from it and have not taken the kids to see it. Here are some pics of the trip to Zion National Park the 1st time we went it is so pretty.
This last picture is of Angel's landing. It is a very long and hard hike up to the top. We didn't hike it the first time we went. I didn't think I could make it.(4 months pregnant) So instead I waited until I was 7 months pregnant to try. We made to the eagles landing which is as far as I would go. The hike after this point is very very narrow with only a chain link fence for you to hang onto and a drop off on each side. People have fell off this trail before and it happened that the day we hiked it somebody did fall off. It is not a fall that is one that can be survived. I won't be hiking it again anytime soon with the kids.
