This post is a bit late considering it is from when we were in Texas with Aunt Kelly, but we went to the zoo and had Easter at her house. We had and nice time while we were there and glad we finally got to see her house.

Family....
Well here is the post of all the pictures I took while in Arkansas. I forgot my camera when we visited my Aunt Betty and cousin Carmen and her daughter Kaylee, but I think I might just hop over to her blog and steal a picture from her.
This is Kaylee, Kymbell, and Kadence laying in bed just being silly. They had so much fun running up and down the hallway and sneaking in the kitchen getting cookies.( Kadence is really the only one that got cookies I don't feed her so she has to get food at other peoples house. Ha This is to Grandma Aunt Betty we can't wait to see you this summer sometime and Konner says Hi.
We went to there house the first day we were in town and then headed to my sisters house to see the kids and my niece that I hadn't met yet. The kids all played hard. Kadence really having girls around to play with that were close to her age. All Kadence has talked about since we left is Tinsley and I want to hold and see Landry. She also loves her aunt Sunny b/c she lets her have all the candy she wants. I think Sunny and Travis had us over for a lunch or a dinner everyday we were in Arkansas. We also went to the Elkins community center for a Easter egg hunt since we had plans to travel Easter Sunday. The girls and I had a wonderful extra long vacation from the men in our lives. After the boys arrived in Arkansas we had a adult girls days out. My mom, sister, my aunt, and cousin went to the casino to have some fun. I also got to visit with my brother and his 2 boys one night. We had a good time with them eating pizza and chatting. Over all we had a great long trip and I can't wait to see the kids very soon.
Above picture is Tinsley, Kymbell, and Kadence. Next picture is Landry in the sink and Tinsley and Kadence playing in the sink.
The top left is Kadence holding her Landry and the next picture is the boys. Konner, Greyson, and Braeden. Then the bottom is Kadence being the little mother to the little girls.
Ok, enough posting for the day maybe I'll try to finish the rest of our trip after I get back from Colorado in a couple of days. I have a lot more pictures of the kids and then we headed to Dallas to visit Kelly and we went to the DFW zoo. We also did a colored eggs there and had a hunt.
We have been busy.... Yes it's really long.....
So basically we have had a crazy past three weeks. First Kadence had a slight cough during the day nothing big, but that night we put her to bed and it had increased a little bit. We put the cool mist humidifier in her room thinking it would help, but it did absolutely nothing for her. The next thing I know Kyle is yelling at me to get the nebulizer and she really wasn't breathing b/c her airway was so swollen. Kyle called 911 and we gave her 2 updrafts and took a ride in the ambulance with some of Kyle's coworkers. Yes you read right mister rub dirt on it called 911 b/c Kadence was REALLY BAD. They gave her a epinephrine up draft and decadron. The ambulance got to the house at 11:00 pm and Kyle came and picked us up at the hospital at 3:30 am it was a pretty quick trip, but I really needed to get her checked by her peds doctor b/c the er doctor wasn't really sure of himself or something. (he was like very early 20's I think) I took her to the Dr the next day and she had a double ear infection and he said she should have stayed in the hospital that night since she was so bad. Anyway he gave her another shot of decadron and gave her 10 days of antibiotics. She is all better now.The Wed. before we left Konner went to school and the teachers called me and said he didn't feel good. Needless to say I figured he was just faking it and didn't rush to pick him up and he puked in the car less than a mile from my house. I pulled over as fast as I could and he refused to get out b/c he didn't want to puke in the side of the rode. So I just pushed him out as he was starting to puke. Thank goodness he was not contagious and I think it was just food poisoning. He also had a ear infection somewhere in the past 3 weeks and was on 10 days of antibiotics, but it wasn't that bad and he is 100% now.So that gets me to the night before we get on the plane and I hadn't packed a darn thing. OOPS!!! I really wasn't in the mood that whole week before plus we have soccer practice for Konner and Greyson on Tuesdays/Thursdays and games on Saturdays. I just didn't feel like I had time. So our flight left at 8:45 am on Friday and I packed the girls and my stuff at 1 am that morning and we had to leave the house at 6 am for me to check in 2 hours before our flight left. Well we got off without any trouble and the girls always fly awesome and never know they are on the plane. As a matter of fact when everybody got off the plane they all said that they didn't even know there were children on the plane. I think the girls, the pilot, and I were the only young people on that flight. Anyways we left the day that the Denver airport canceled all the flights for the blizzard that was going on and it reached down into Kansas and Oklahoma area so our flight was a little rough at the end, but the girls were asleep so they didn't have a clue. The landing was rough b/c the runway was covered with a complete sheet of ice and the the thing that conects us the the airport to let us off was frozen. Soooo the pilot came up with a idea that she had to get approved. We landed in Wichita at 1:05 and didn't get off the plane until 2:20 or so. She helped every person out the back of the plane and helped them in the door. She carried the girls and my car seat in and then helped me inside. After that whole mess I went and met my dads cousin(Roger) to help me with the girls/2 bags/my 2 carry on/stroller/2 car seats. Thank god he was there I don't think I would have been able to do it. Got my car rented loaded the car seats and decided to eat lunch before heading on my 4 hour drive. Long story short it was sleeting and snowing/raining and my windshield wipers motor broke about a hour outside of where Roger left us. I WAS STRANDED in the snow with the girls. Thankfully I pulled off the side of the road by a policeman and he called the mechanic/preacher and he refused to let me sit on the side of the road waiting for Roger to come and get us. So I unloaded the car seats out of the rental and into his car and we went to a small cafe in Leon. Yes you read right I got into a car with a complete stranger with my girls and went somewhere with him. CRAZY, Yes I know. So, we did not get to Arkansas that night and we stayed in Kansas with Roger for the night and headed out in the morning. It was basically a blizzard when we left that next morning, but I didn't care I just wanted to get to Elkins to see my family. So I was supposed to be in Elkins around 6 or 7 Friday and didn't get there until 8 pm Saturday. Let me just say Avis car rental STINKS they told me just to sit and wait until the could come/then told me to drive the car with no windsheild wipers 3 miles down the road. After I told them I was leaving the keys in Leon he called to tell me I had to stay in that town until he could get a tow truck to me which wasn't going to be until the next night b/c he could let his drivers out in the severe roads conditions. Well that catches me up for a few days. Kadence in her Green.
Greyson,Konner, and Kymbell dressed in there green for st patties day.
This is what we were leaving behind in Kansas.

Extreme Home Makeover....
It's coming here. Pep rally is tomorrow at 6:00 on Fremont Street. Maybe I'll make my way down there to see what is going on maybe I can be one of the volunteers. (think they would let me bring all my kids down there to help) That's funny. I would love to go help. I wonder what or who they are helping here. I am so going to find out.

Just playing around.
Kyle and the kids. I tried to get a good picture of them, but they didn't want to sit still and wanted to play instead. It snowed on us the entire time we were up there the past couple of times.
Kymbell playing in the snow. She has really started to like going up there and rolling in the snow.
Kadence holding her purple sled. She is really ready to go play and not wanting me to take pictures.
Kadence and Kymbell in there snow bibs and snow boots getting ready to go up the mountain last weekend.
My Valentine from Greyson written with hotwheel cars. He had it in the loft waiting for me to get out of bed that morning. How sweet was that boy.

Kymbell...
Just a few things I would like to remember that Kymbell is doing at 17 months.
She can say a few words, but not that many it's hard to get in a word in our house of constant talkers. She says please, thank, juice, no, yes, Hi, baby, daddy, mama, blue, and fish. She always wants to leave the house no matter who is leaving. She loves her daddy during the day, but wants me at bedtime and early in the morning. She is really good with our cat and the dogs a real animal lover. She has to make sure she gives the boys hugs and kisses at bedtime. She loves to be the baby she will get in Kadence's baby playpen and lets Kadence play like she is a baby doll. It is really cute. She runs from you when it's time for a diaper change, but will get the diaper for you. She is such a sweet baby girl that we are very lucky to have in our lives.
Sledding....
I can't stress enough how much fun we have sledding, but this last time we went the snow was actually still falling and it was a foot of fresh snow on the ground. I was kinda worried b/c they said the road was closed to anyone without snow tires or chains, but they let us through maybe it was b/c we were in our truck. Anyway it was absolutely beautiful up there.

Kadence just covered in snow. She was rolling around and grabbing big handfuls of snow and throwing it in the air.

Greyson is just walking around in the background.
Kyle going down the big steep hill.
Konner just rolling around and playing. I think the boys missed the snow, but now we have it close by and more often then we did in Arkansas. I think they are very happy.
Grey going down that big hill behind him. No he didn't hit that tree.
The girls enjoying playing in the snow. They are in really good ski wear so they are warm.
Kadence and Kymbell going down the hill together.
The girls and I just sitting in the snow together.
Kyle carrying Kymbell up the hill so she could go back down again.
Grandma and Papa Pixler.....
We had a wonderful visit from Grandma and Papa Pixler they came into town on the 26th. We always look forward to them coming, but the kids get so excited to have somebody give them a little extra attention. We love having them here to visit with us. They watched the kids for s one night so Kyle and I could go on a date. Thanks so much for that we had a blast. We went to the Melting Pot which is a fondue restaurant. You go a have a 4 course meal and first veggies with a cheese fondue of your choice, a salad, then you pick your meat combination we had the shrimp, steak, chicken, salmon, lobster, pork, and ravioli and if that isn't enough we had dessert. Our dessert was a chocolate fondue with brownies, rice krispie bites, marshmallows, cheesecake, strawberries, and pound cake. I have no idea how we walked out if there. We then headed to Red Rock casino and walked around. It was so nice to go out without our kids. I really can't remember the last time we went on a date.

The picture above is us making homemade ice cream. Yummy!!!
Kymbell before and after: A matter of seconds passed and the below happened.
Kadence and her first scooter.
Kadence climbed up on Grandma and fell asleep.
Papa was laying on the floor showing the boys exercises he does for his back and Kymbell laid down and showed him how it was really done.HA
Kadence and Grandma having a talk. Below papa doing what he does most of the time he is here peeling and feeding the kids oranges.
Grey's birthday party...
We took Greyson and a couple of his friends to Chuck E Cheese to run crazy for a few hours. He had a really good time he is very hard to buy for since it is right after Christmas, but I think he liked what he received. He wants to Thank Grandma Pixler, Aunt Kelly, Grammy, and Aunt CC(Sunny)and rest of the family for the gift cards. He had a lot of fun going and buying what he wanted. After the birthday party we loaded up and drove to Mt Charleston and went sledding. They really enjoy sledding, but this time we went to a different place and the snow had started to melt. That means me and the kids had wet feet b/c I stepped on ice and my foot keep going through to my mid calf pure cold wet water. We still had a blast.
